“Asma jelas merupakan risiko,” kata Dr. Long.

(Tina Donvito)

DETIK.COM confirm on its release that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said the higher temperature caused the Corona COVID-19 virus to live in the air and shorter surface. Factors of direct exposure to sunlight also affect.

This was conveyed by Jokowi after hearing statements from the Department of Homeland Security officials from the United States government regarding research into the coronavirus or COVID-19. From these studies, it is known that air temperature, sunlight, and humidity levels greatly affect the speed of COVID-19 virus death in the air and on non-porous surfaces.

"The higher the temperature, the higher the humidity, and the direct exposure to sunlight will further shorten the life span of the COVID-19 virus in the air and on non-porous surfaces," Jokowi said in a written statement from the Presidential Decree, Friday (4/24/2020) .

Jokowi said this was good news because Indonesia has a tropical climate with hot temperatures, humid air, and rich sunlight. However, the President reminded the public to continue to implement the protocol to prevent transmission of COVID-19 in a disciplined manner.

The issue of releasing prisoners of old corruption cases in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) had become a polemic. The opportunity is now closed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

In a limited meeting receiving the report of the COVID-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling, Jokowi explained the reason for releasing prisoners due to overcapacity in prisons and fear of coronavirus transmission. But it was emphasized Jokowi for prisoners of general criminal acts (tipidum), and not corruptors who are special criminal cases (tipidsus).

"I just want to say that for corrupt prisoners we never talked about it in our meetings. So in PP 99 of 2012 (Government Regulation on the Requirements and Procedures for the Implementation of Prisoners' Rights, ed) there is no revision for this. prisoners are only for general criminal inmates, "Jokowi said via video conference on Monday (6/4).

Jokowi looked in the mirror from other countries that released prisoners to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Like in Iran and Brazil which freed tens of thousands of prisoners. The Head of State said that the release of tipidum inmates had strict conditions.
"We also agreed last week, this is also to release prisoners because our prison is overcapacity. So it is very risky to accelerate the spread of COVID-19 in our prisons. But it is not free, of course there are conditions, there are criteria, and supervision, "Jokow said

South Sulawesi Governor Nurdin Abdullah, who is now directly leading the Task Force for the Acceleration of Coronavirus Disease Handling (COVID-19), has made Makassar the focus of Corona treatment and prevention. Nurdin considered Makassar to be the epicenter of Corona transmission in South Sulawesi.

Indonesia Government Urges From Today All Must Use Masks
Following the recommendations of the WHO World Health Organization, the Government of Indonesia recommends the use of masks even when not sick. Fabric masks are recommended.

"Starting today, according to WHO recommendations, we run masks for all. All must use masks," said a government spokesman for handling the COVID-19 coronavirus, Achmad Yurianto, Sunday (4/4/2020).

Yuri reminded, surgical masks and N95 masks are only for medical personnel. For every day, it is recommended to wear a cloth mask. This suggestion is related to the presence of several cases of asymptomatic COVID-19 coronavirus infection which is also a source of disease spread. Therefore, it is recommended for all to wear masks when leaving the house.

For those who use cloth masks, it is recommended not to wear it for more than 4 hours. After that, the cloth mask can be washed with soap water (DETIKCOM)

Lately, some people say that COVID-19 coronavirus cannot live in Indonesia because of the hot weather. Previously the same narration had also sparked when the coronavirus case had not been detected in Indonesia. Many link tropical climates to make Indonesia 'invulnerable' corona.

The emergence of the first infection in Indonesia to date has 1,790 cases, of course, refuting this notion. Until now there has been no research that shows the coronavirus can die in hot weather.

"If that is the postulate (presumption-ed) then in a hot region like Saudi Arabia all the viruses will die, it will be hotter than us," said Chairman of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), Dr. Daeng M Faqih, in an online press conference Katadata, Friday (3/4/2020).

In addition, many who echo the sun can prevent transmission of the coronavirus. There are even times when it is recommended that absorption is more optimal.

As stated by Dr. Daeng, sunbathing can be one way to increase endurance. But don't be too sure that the virus will die just by basking in the sun."Do not be too confident that sunbathing, the virus will die. The virus lasts a long time not in the body or clothes, but in the throat because of the virus receptors in our throat. It will survive unless our immunity can fight," he explained.

"So do not sunbathe is considered free of viruses, it is only a small part (prevention efforts)," he concluded. (Khadijah Nur Azizah - detikHealth)

The West Kalimantan Provincial Transportation Agency (Kalbar) implemented a policy of putting ink on the fingers of every person who entered the province to later be determined as COVID-19 Insider Monitoring (ODP). This was done as an effort to anticipate the spread of the coronavirus which is now local transmission.

Head of the West Kalimantan Transportation Office, Manto, revealed that the policy had been implemented since Wednesday (1/4). According to the Governor of West Kalimantan, according to him, for the time being, people marked with ink were passengers at the airport coming from Jakarta.

In addition, the same thing applies to all people who come from Malaysia through the land route at the State Cross-border Post (PLBN). "Transportation Agency has applied to give a mark (ink on the finger). Our job only ends there, "he told Pontianak Post, Thursday (2/4).

After the Transportation Agency gives a sign, then the Port Health Office (KKP) has the right to report the ODP list to the Health Service. "We (after applying ink) must not mix again," he said.

Intelijent  : Juli 2020 Puncak Penyebaran Covid-19 in Indonesia
Chairman of the COVID-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Doni Monardo said, based on data from the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the spread of the coronavirus or COVID-19 in the country will experience its peak in July 2020.

The data was delivered by Doni, in a working meeting with Commission IX via video conferencing, Thursday (2/4/2020). Based on BIN data, in July 2020 the spread of COVID-19 in the country will reach 106,287 cases. "The peak is at the end of June and the end of July," said Doni.

Then, the data is written, COVID-19 cases will increase from the end of March to 1,577 cases, end of April as many as 27,307 cases, 95,451 cases at the end of May, and 105,765 cases at the end of June.

According to Doni, there are 50 priority districts or cities that have a high risk related to the increased spread of the coronavirus and 49 percent of the area is in Java. He warned BIN studies could not occur if preventive measures continue to be carried out in a disciplined manner by the community. "If we can take preventative measures, hopefully, the case will not be as predicted," he said.uc

13 Doctors Died During the COVID-19 Plague
Chairman of the COVID-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Doni Monardo said there were 13 doctors who died during the COVID-19 outbreak. This was conveyed by Doni, in a working meeting with Commission IX via video conference, Thursday (2/4/2020).

"Data from the field 13 of our doctors have passed, died," said Doni. Doni said the Task Force would classify doctors who had actually died while carrying out their duties as COVID-19 medical personnel.

According to him, it is possible that of the 13 doctors who died while not carrying out their duties as medical personnel. "We are trying to make a grouping of doctors who are really in the forefront who eventually died as heroes," he said. "But there may also be doctors who die and die, when there is no connection with their duties as health workers, because they may have different responsibilities," he added.

Earlier it was reported, the Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association (PB IDI) noted that at least 13 doctors had died during the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

According to PB IDI General Chairman Daeng M Faqih, there are two things that cause a doctor or medical personnel to be infected with the coronavirus. First, the medical person contracted the patient who did not know that the patient treated was positive for COVID-19. "So, the doctor (became) less alert," Daeng said via text message to Kompas.com, Thursday (2/4/2020).

Second, because of the lack of personal protective equipment that meets the standards and is sufficient for medical personnel to use while handling patients. For this reason, he hopes that the government can be more open about patient data. Although there are rules that require patient data to be kept confidential, but at least that information can be made limited to the officer in the hospital who is handling it to increase awareness.

Pastikan pembersih tangan mengandung setidaknya 60 persen alkohol, catat Alex Berezow, PhD, ahli mikrobiologi dan Wakil Presiden Urusan Ilmiah untuk American Council on Science and Health.

The death toll of COVID-19 in Indonesia: 136 people died update by 31 March 2020 : 15.00 PML.  This release confirmed by source The Ministry of Health Of The Republic Of Indonesia, Johns Hopkins. Created with Datawrappe. The palace explained the stages regarding large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) to be applied in the regions. What are the stages?

Deputy IV of the Presidential Staff Office Jury Ardiantoro said this social restriction could only be implemented in the COVID-19 distribution area. The mechanism that must be taken is through the Minister of Health's approval first.

"First, the regional government can do for one province or district with the approval of the minister of health. In this sense, not all regions can implement this policy. Because this must be based on technical, operational, political, socio-economic and security considerations. So this must meet the criteria which is not easy, "said the jury in a press conference broadcast live on YouTube BNPB, Wednesday (1/4/2020).

Local governments are also required to pay attention to the provisions stipulated in Law Number 6 the Year 2018 regarding Health Quarantine. Local governments must not deviate from that rule.

The jury also explained the stages of the implementation of PSBB in the area carried out through governors, regents, and mayors by giving proposals to the Minister of Health. Then, the Minister of Health discussed the proposal of the Regional Government to the Task Force for the Acceleration of Countermeasure for COVID-19.

"The mechanism for implementing PSBB in the regions is when the regions want to implement a large-scale social restriction policy, the governor, district head and mayor propose to the minister. Then the Ministry of Health in receiving this receives consideration from the Chair of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force," explained the Jury.

In addition to the governor and regional apparatus, the determination of the PSBB in the area could be proposed by the Chair of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force. The jury also stressed that this policy must still be approved by the Ministry of Health.

"In addition to the regional head, the PSBB can be proposed through the Chair of the Task Force. The Chair of the Task Force can propose to the Ministry of Health to set social restrictions. When accepting certain regions or regions, it is mandatory for regions to implement this decision," he explained.
