A COVID-19 Surveillance Patient (PDP) treated at Abdul Aziz Singkawang Hospital in Kota Kinabawang was pronounced dead on Thursday (2/4). This patient is a 12-year-old boy who was previously treated at Hope Hospital with the City of Singkawang.
Head of the Health Department Kalbar Harisson explained that the boy from Singkawang City had a history of returning from East Java on March 20, 2020. Then on March 23, 2020, the boy had fever, cough, and suffocation.
Then he was treated at the Hope Hospital with Singkawang City. "He was hospitalized for one week in the ICU, and on March 30, 2020 was referred to Abdul Aziz Singkawang Hospital, entering the isolation room with a ventilator," Harisson said Thursday (2/4) afternoon.
The patient later died around 8pm at Abdul Aziz Singkawang Hospital on Thursday (2/4). Since being treated at the Hope Hope Joint ICU room, this patient has been reported to have had soporuscoma or almost coma.
