Pontianak Head of West Kalimantan Health Office (Kalbar) Harisson announced the latest developments regarding the COVID-19 case in the province, Wednesday (1/4) evening. He said there was an additional one patient who tested positive for COVID-19.
PDP who was stated positively was a resident who was being treated at Agoesdjam General Hospital in Ketapang. "We just got a report from the Indonesian Ministry of Health so this is a COVID-19 confirmation case," he explained.
Thus there is an additional one case, the 10th patient confirmed COVID-19 in West Kalimantan. This patient is a 39-year-old female resident of Ketapang Regency.
This mother has a history of travel from 21-29 February 2020 to Jakarta and Bogor to take part in an activity. Then on March 9, 2020, he had a fever, then on March 22, 2020, he was treated and isolated at the Agoesdjam General Hospital in Ketapang as a PDP.
"As of today, April 1, 2020, we have the examination results, so this woman is the 10th COVID-19 confirmed case in West Kalimantan," he said.
The patient's condition is said to be in good health. Had almost been sent home, but still had to wait for the results of the lab from Jakarta. "So once again this mother is in good health, has returned to normal as usual," he concluded.
Thus there have been 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in West Kalimantan. Where four people are still being treated in several hospitals throughout West Kalimantan, two people are strictly isolated, two people have been declared cured and two people have died. (bar)
