Pontianak  Minister of Religion, Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, closed a series of competitions at the XXV National Quran Recitation Selection (STQ) in Pontianak Alun Park on Friday, July 5, 2019 night accompanied by Governor of West Kalimantan, Sutarmidji and Pontianak Mayor Edi Rusdi Kamtono.

The Minister of Religion explained that the Qur'an has an important function as an inspiration to reach a better life so that every time it becomes a tradition and loves the Koran whenever and wherever."The Qur'an will not open the contents if we never read to live and realize love for them," said the Minister of Religion after closing the XXV STQN in Pontianak.

According to him, STQ is a momentum for the public to practice that can enlighten each generation.Even though the art education of reading the Koran is intensified so that there are no more Muslim children who cannot read in the village or in the city.

Pontianak  The excitement of the National Qur'an Recital Selection (STQ) event in Pontianak was inseparable from the participation and hard work of The State Electricity Company (PLN) officials who struggled to secure the electricity supply, both before the national scale activity began on June 29 until ending on July 5.

According to the General Manager of the PLN West Kalimantan Regional Master Unit, Agung Murdifi, the preparations made by the National Electric Company have been carried out long before the activities began. It has coordinated with local and national committees to secure electricity supply, especially in locations where the activities take place.

"We have carried out maintenance and repairs both on the side of the plant, transmission and distribution, including securing the electricity network from disturbances by cutting trees and growing plants belonging to residents who are close to the electricity network," Agung explained.

He admitted, overall electricity supply in each location of the activity was supplied by PLN. Specifically to secure electricity supply at the Taman Alun Kapuas main stage, PLN prepares 1 unit of UPS with a capacity of 100 kVa with 4 PLN generator units with a capacity of 300 kVA as well as the Event Organizer's generator set as the activity responsible

Pontianak   A total of 57 booths enlivened the XXV National STQ craft exhibition in the Kapuas square park opened by the Governor of West Kalimantan Sutarmidji, Saturday (29/6/2019). Pontianak Mayor, who is also STQ National Daily Chairperson Edi Rusdi Kamtono, said the craft exhibition stand was centered in the Alun Kapuas park.

While the culinary stand was centered on the courtyard of the Pontianak Mujahidin mosque. The booths in Kapuas Square amounted to 57 units consisting of the provincial government stand, Ministry of Religion stand, Regency and city stands in West Kalimantan, UKM stands, vertical agency stands.

While in the courtyard of the Masjid Raya Mujahidin there were 30 food stands which were standard halal certificates. There are various kinds of traditional foods such as spicy porridge, spicy tamarind, bingke, cincalok and other kinds. Residents Attend the STQ Exhibition
Since it was officially opened on Saturday (9/29/2019), the exhibition began to be filled with citizen visits. This exhibition is a craft exhibition and became one of the series in organizing the 25th national STQ in Pontianak. The national level STQ was held for the first time in Pontianak, so that residents were also enthusiastic to come to the exhibition.

The exhibition which took place at Pontianak Square was enlivened by 57 participants. The participants who filled the stand consisted of the Indonesian Provincial Government stand, Regency / City stand in West Kalimantan, UKM stand, Ministry of Religion stand, BNN stand, and other vertical agency stands. Pontianak  XXV National Tilawatil Qur'an (STQ) Selection Contingent held a ta'aruf parade which began from the courtyard of the West Kalimantan Governor's office towards Kapuas Square, Saturday (29/6). All caliphs participated in the ta'aruf parade.

Since the morning the decorative cars are ready in the yard of the office of the Governor of West Kalimantan, the character of the car decoration also highlights the distinctive characteristics of each province in Indonesia, complete with their respective regional clothing.

At eight o'clock, the car that was decorated in such a manner departed past the route of A Yani Road, Ahmad Dahlan, Wahid Hasyim, H Rais A Rahman, Martadinata, Kom Yos Sudarso, Pak Kasih and finish in front of the Kapuas Alun Park on Jalan Rahadi Usman.

In Kapuas Square itself, people are already busy waiting for the arrival of cars that showcase the characteristics of the area. Around ten o'clock, the ta'aruf parade car arrived at Kapuas Square.
