Pontianak West Kalimantan successfully entered the final round at the XXV National Tilawatil Quran (STQ) Selection Competition held in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan Province.
The Chairperson of the West Kalimantan Caravan at the 2019 National Quran Recital Selection (STQ) event Shahdan Lazis said the participants from West Kalimantan who had made it to the final round managed to send 4 representatives to compete in the next round at the 2019 National STQ.
"Alhamdulillah, the participants of the daughters have performed optimally, of course, we hope we can win first place. Then in the Hifzil Quran branch 10 juz, for 30 juz sons and memorize 100 hadiths plus sanads from West Kalimantan," he told reporters.
Although the victory has not been announced by the committee, as a reward for all West Kalimantan khafilah, the bonus that has been prepared by the regional government has been prepared for efforts to make West Kalimantan a name.

One of the Pontianak City participants from 4 people who entered the final, Malika Khaira Khalqillah said she was happy and had done her best after reading the Holy Qur'an in the final round of the tilawah branch of the children's group.
"This final feels heavier than the preliminary round, but I am optimistic because it hopes to be the best. "It's more difficult to finalize because the new verse has just been given 30 minutes before reading," he explained.
