SIMPLYASEP.COM Alhamdulillah, it was really a wonderful experience that I finally able to staying overnight at IBIS Pontianak last year exactly on Friday, May 24, 2019, to coincide with the 19th day of Ramadan (if I am not mistaken). People say Barokah Friday is true. Thank God, gift vouchers in the form of One Night stay at IBIS Pontianak from the Door Prize at the Journalist Gathering and Competition - ASTRA MOTOR PONTIANAK on April 17, 2019, ago. Uniquely both events fall on the same day Friday. Is this just a coincidence? I am sure there was the intervention of ALLAH SWT in the AHM Journalist Gathering and Competition event which was held on Friday (17 April 2019) and the execution of the Prize was also on Friday (24 May 2019).
Very First Time
Actually, I have often heard the name IBIS Pontianak even when I was still working at the Pontianak Post Daily (2002-2016). At that time, the bosses and the officials of the Jawa Pos News Network (JPNN) in several meetings in Surabaya, Makassar or other cities stayed overnight at the IBIS Surabaya Hotel. So I've often heard the name of this IBIS. Until then, I often heard the name of IBIS or IBIS Hotels, but I had never thought about staying overnight.
And Alhamdulillah that opportunity came today. The 1-night free stay prize at IBIS Pontianak is a Door Prize Prize for participating in the ASTRA MOTOR PONTIANAK event that held an event at the same venue as the "Journalist Gathering and Competition" on April 17, 2019,, ago.
The gift vouchers themselves were taken directly at the ASTRA MOTOR PONTIANAK office located in front of Ahmad Yani Mega Mall Pontianak. The awarding of his own prize was given by Suyanto (Analysys) of Astra Motor Pontianak at 10.30 WiB.
Then after the voucher has been handled, I then immediately check to the location of IBIS Pontianak itself. Previously, I contacted IBIS PONTIANAK through their official Instagram account @ibispontianakcitycenter and was informed that for a Stay Voucher Reservation must be made first, and the stay gift voucher is not valid on red or weekend dates. I often stay at hotels with gift vouchers like this so I understand the terms and conditions.
Then at 10.40 WIB I immediately made a reservation in accordance with the "direction" of IBIS Pontianak through the Instagram account. The process was not long and finally, the reservation was confirmed, and I just checked in at IBIS Pontianak, which turned out to be OPEN at 14.00 WIB. Finally, after the Friday Prayer in the Babussalam Mosque at the Ambassador of Kubu Raya Airport, I took my children (Tazkia 6 and Abbie 11) to IBIS Pontianak..
My Bike Key is almost Lost
Traveling doesn't always contain beautiful stories - mountains, beaches, blue seas, good food, meeting good people on trips and so on. The story is simple. Once I arrived at the IBIS Pontianak Parking Basement, it turned out that my motorbike was still hanging on the motorbike. Or it could be that I forgot or scattered keys around where my motorcycle was parked. I was not aware or did not realize that the Motor Key was not in my pocket at that time.
I also did not understand, and just enjoy this check at the IBIS Pontianak Hotel Lobby and get a ROOM on the 11th Floor. Even until it was faint and finished breaking my fast, I was still not aware that the motorcycle key was not in my pants pocket.
Well, I just realized there was no motorbike key so I was going to the Great Mosque of the Mujahidin Pontianak for the Isha and Tarawih prayers. The motorbike key wasn't in my pocket. I was busy too and fro back and forth mattress bed cabinet table all, did not find. I was discouraged, I already wanted to go to Isha and Tarawih at the Mujahidin Mosque;
I just resigned myself, and reported it to the Customer Service of IBIS Pontianak and hoped that the brand would find the key to my motorbike who somehow knows where it is.
CS will also notify me if they find it. Finally, with a lethargic step, I also speculated that maybe the motorbike key was still hanging on the motorbike. "Ahaaaaaaaaa" I thought.
And I went straight to the parking lot where my YAMAHA MIO motorcycle was parked. And it turns out the Motor Key was found by Mr. who served in the IBIS Pontianak Parking Basement named RIAN or RIYAN. Sorry if I wrote the name wrong.
That young man found my Motorcycle Key. and Alhamdulillah, I was able to calmly go to the Mujahidin Grand Mosque for the Isha and Tarawih Prayers. Through this opportunity, I would also like to thank Pak RIYAN at IBIS Pontianak for finding the motorcycle key. What would happen if the motor lock was not found, it would be very troublesome. My house is in Supadio, Kubu Raya, and I don't have a spare key at all. Thank you so much.

Even though this is my first time staying at IBIS Pontianak today (Friday, May 24, 2019), I am very confident that this IBIS Pontianak will be successful. The room that I shared with my family in Room 1122 on the 11th floor is very neat, clean, with beautiful decoration with a table and a wooden cabinet that has been furnished (Sorry if I called it wrong),

From my experience staying at Starred Hotels in KL Malaysia (Merdeka), Banten (Marbella), Bandung (Savoy Homan), Jakarta (Haris), Bali (Puri Ayu, Puri Dalem, Legian Paradiso Hotel, Bali Summer, etc.) to Pontianak ( Mercure, Orchard Gajahmada / Perdana,) and finally landed also at IBIS Pontianak, and it turns out that only at IBIS Pontianak is the fastest WIFI or HOTSPOT download speed access from all the hotels I have ever stayed. Excellent speed
IBIS Pontianak is located in the heart of Pontianak. Access everywhere is very easy. If you want to go to Ahmad Yani Mega Mall (the biggest Mall in Kalar), you can just walk from Supadio International Airport to IBIS Pontianak and it can also be reached in a short time. Pengalaman Menginap Di IBIS Pontianak
SIMPLYASEP.COM Alhamdulillah akhirnya saya jadi juga menginap di IBIS Pontianak pada hari ini Jumat 24 Mei 2019 bertepatan dengan Ramadhan hari ke 19 (kalau saya tidak salah menghitung). Orang bilang Jumat Barokah memang benar adanya. Alhamdulillah voucher hadiah berupa One Night (satu malam) menginap di IBIS Pontianak dari Door Prize pada kegiatan Journalist Gathering and Competition - ASTRA MOTOR PONTIANAK tanggal 17 April 2019 yang lalu. Sudah lama memang. Namun kenangan itu selalu teringat dan terkenang
Mohon maaf sebelumnya artikel ini REVIEW nya lebih condong kepada video YOUTUBE nya saja karena saya liat jauh lebih praktis dan lebih mudah penyampaian maksudnya kepada para pembaca. Uniknya kedua acara tersebut jatuh pada hari yang sama Jumat. Apakah ini sebuah kebetulan belaka? Saya yakin ada campur tangan ALLAH SWT di dalamnya Acara Journalist Gathering and Competition AHM itu diaksanakan pada hari Jumat (17 April 2019) dan eksekusi Hadiahnya juga pada hari Jumat (24 Mei 2019).
Baru Pertama Menginap
Sebenarnya nama IBIS Pontianak sudah sering saya dengar bahkan saat saya masih bekerja di Harian Pontianak Post (2002 - 2016). Waktu itu bos bos dan para petinggi Jawa Pos News Network (JPNN) dalam beberapa kali pertemuan baik di kota Surabaya, Makasar atau kota kota lainnya menginapnya di Hotel IBIS Surabaya Jadi saya sudah sering mendengar nama IBIS ini. Sampai saat itulah saya jadi sering mendengr nama IBIS atau Hotel IBIS namun belum pernah ada kepikiran untuk menginap.
Dan Alhamdulillah kesempatan itu datang pada hari ini. Hadiah menginap Gratis 1 malam di IBIS Pontianak ini merupakan Hadiah Door Prize dari mengikuti kegiatan ASTRA MOTOR PONTIANAK yang menggelar acara di tempt yang sama dengan tajuk "Journalist Gathering and Competition" pada tanggal 17 April 2019 yang lalu. Voucher hadiahnya sendiri diambil secara langsung di kantor ASTRA MOTOR PONTIANAK yang terletak di depan Ahmad Yani Mega Mall Pontianak Penyerahan hadiahnya sendiri oleh Suyanto (Analysys) Astra Motor Pontianak pada jam 10.30 WiB.
Kemudian setelah Voucher sudah ditangan, saya kemudian langsung cek ke lokasi IBIS Pontianak sendiri. Sebelumnya saya sudah menghubungi IBIS PONTIANAK melalui akun Instagram resmi mereka @ibispontianakcitycenter dan didapat informasi bahwa untuk Voucher Menginap harus dilakukan Reservasi dahulu, dan Voucher hadiah menginap tidak berlaku pada tanggal merah atau weekend. Saya sudah sering menginap di Hotel denga voucher hadiah seperti ini jadi sudah paham term and condition nya.
Kemudian pada Jam 10.40 WIB nya saya langsung melakukan Reservasi sesuai dengan "arahan" dari IBIS Pontianak melalui akun Instragramnya itu. Prosesnya tidak lama dan akhirnya Reservasi sudah confirm, dan saya tingga check in saja di IBIS Pontianak yang ternyata baru OPEN pada pukul 14.00 WIB. Akhirnya selepas Sholat Jumat Berjamaah di Masjid Babussalam Duta Bandara Kubu Raya, saya bawa anak anak saya (Tazkia 6 dan Abbie 11) ke IBIS Pontianak..
Kunci Motor Nyaris Hilang
Yang namanya Traveling tidak selalu berisi cerita Indah - Gunung, Pantai , Laut Yang Biru, Makanan enak, bertemu dengan orang orang Baik di perjalanan dan sebagainya. Pengalaman buruk sekalipun bisa menjadi catatan yang justru membuat Travel Notes atau Laporan perjalanan kalian menjadi lebih bermakna, ada bobot nilainya dan membuat kesan pembaca terlibat dan diajak merasakan pengalaman yang dirasakan sang petualang atau Traveller. Ini saya alami sendiri : Kunci Motor Nyaris Hiang
Ceritanya sederhana saja. Begitu saya sampai di Basement Parkir IBIS Pontianak, ternyata kucni motor saya masih menggantung di motor. Atau bisa jadi saya lupa atau tercecer kunci di sekitar tempat motor saya diparkir. Saya tidak sadar atau tidak menyadarinya kalau sang Kunci Motor sudah tidak ada di saku saya saat itu.
Saya pun nggak ngeh, dan enjoy saja check ini di Lobby Hotel IBIS Pontianak dan mendapat ROOM di Lantai 11. Bahkan sampai leyeh leyeh dan selesai berbuka Puasa pun saya masih belum saadar kalau kunci motor sudah tidak ada di saku celana saya.
Nah saya baru SADAR sang Kunci motor tidak ada begitu akan menuju Masjid Raya Mujahidin Pontianak untuk Sholat Isya dan Taraweh, Kunci motor tidak ada di saku saya. Saya pun sibuk kesana kemari bolak balik kasur lemari meja semuanya , tidak ketemu. Saya sempat putus asa, padaha sudah mau go untu Isya dan Taraweh di Masjid Mujahidin;
Saya pun pasrah saja, dan melaporkan hal itu kepada Customer Service pihak IBIS Pontianak dan berharap merek menemukan kunci motor saya yang entah berda di mana keberadaannya.
Pihak CS pun akan mengabarkan kepada saya jika mereka menemukanya. Akhirnya dengan langkah lesu, saya pun berspekulasi barangkali kunci motor masih tergantung di Motor. "Ahaaaaaaaaa" pikir saya.
Dan saya pun langsung menuju ke halaman parkir tempat di mana motor YAMAHA MIO saya parkir. Dan ternyata Kunci Motor ditemukan oleh Bapak yang bertugas di Basement Parkir IBIS Pontianak yang bernama RIAN atau RIYAN. Maaf jika saya salah menuliskan namanya.
Pemuda itulah yang menemukan Kunci Motor saya. dan Alhamdulah saya pun bisa dengan tenang menuju Masjid Raya Mujahidin untuk Sholat Isya dan Taraweh. Melalui kesempatan ini juga saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Pak RIYAN di IBIS Pontianak yang sudah menemukan kunci motor. Apa jadinya jika kunci motor tidak ketemu, akan sangat merepotkan. Rumah saya di Supadio, Kubu Raya, dan saya tidak punya kunci cadangan sama sekali. Thank You so much.

Walau baru pertama kali saya menginap di IBIS Pontianak pada hari ini (Jumat 24 Mei 2019) namun saya sudah sangat yakin IBIS Pontianak ini akan meraih sukses. Kamar yang saya tempat bersama keluarga di Room 1122 yang berada di lantai 11 sangat rapih, bersih, dengan dekorasi yang cantik dengan meja dan lemari kayu yang sudah di furnish (Maaf kalau saya salah sebut ya), Kamar Mandi (Bath Room) yang nyaman membuat saya senang menginap di IBIS Pontianak ini. Silahkan dilihat Video pendeknya di atas yang sudah saya anggap sudah mewakili artikel REVIEW yang sederhana ini
Dari pengalaman saya menginap di Hotel Berbintang di KL Malaysia (Merdeka), Banten (Marbella), Bandung (Savoy Homan), Jakarta (Haris), Bali (Puri Ayu, Puri Dalem, Legian Paradiso Hotel , Bali Summer, dll) hingga Pontiaak (Mercure , Orchard Gajahmada/Perdana, ) dan akhirnya mendarat juga di IBIS Pontianak, dan ternyata hanya di IBIS Pontianak inilah akses kecepatan download WIFI atau HOTSPOT nya tercepat dari semua hotel yang pernah saya inapi. Excellent speed
IBIS Pontianak terletak di jantung kota Pontianak. Akses kemana mana sangat mudah. Kalau mau ke Ahmad Yani Mega Mall (Mall terbesar di Kalar) cukup berjalan kaki saja Dari Bandara Internastional Supadio ke IBIS Pontianak juga dapat ditempuh dalam waktu yang singkat. Lokasinya memang strategis. Saya rekomendasikan IBIS Pontianak -Grup ACCOR ini untuk kalian semuanya. Kalian harus merasakannya sendiri Very reommended. (Asep Haryono)
