The number of Coronavirus infections in Indonesia is increasing. Within 24 hours, there were more than 153 new positive cases of the Coronavirus, bringing the total to 1,046 cases.

However, Government Spokesperson for Covid-19 Achmad Yurianto explained, the significant increase in cases is evidence that transmission still occurs in the community.

In addition, there were an additional 9 deaths. So that a total of 87 people died.
This means that the mortality rate in Indonesia (mortality rate) becomes 8.3 percent of the total positive patients. While the number of patients recovering increased by 11 people.
