Unique things in Kuala Lumpur

SIMPLYASEP.COMI never imagined I could stop by Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last November 2009. It's been a while. But many notes that I can try to share for blogger friends are all from Culinary, and so forth. Suddenly stop by, and even more special trip to Kuala Lumpur 2 days 1 night which, if converted to the equivalent of Rp. 25,0000,000 (2500 USD $ with an exchange rate of Rp.10,000, -). Imagine that much money if you buy a lot of Klepon.

It feels incomplete when visiting Kuala Lumpur but not visiting the Twin Towers of the Malaysian People's pride. I and a number of delegates from the YES (Youth Engagement Summit) Conference were driving there. The route is via bus, around 10:00 WIB eh wrong when Malaysia dunk. At that time we did not memorize the route to get there, so just asking questions finally arrived. Too bad we did not get to the top of the Twin Towers because at that time there was a drill to combat fire and terrorism.

COOL: Towering high. Too bad I have not had the chance to go up to the top. When is it? When sometimes. Photo of Asep Haryono

CLEAN: A quiet and orderly highway. Even though it was a working day, but where could people be so quiet. Photo of Asep Haryono

PROTEST: I asked KL residents that the ISA stands for the International Standards Act, a kind of pact that prohibits citizens from protesting against the government. In Indonesia, maybe Terrorism Law this time. Photo of Asep Haryono

CLEAR: Ride a BUS, don't worry about lacking money because BUS prices or rates are clearly displayed here. The fare is 1 Malaysian Ringgit. How much is the rupiah? Photo of Asep Haryono

BEAUTIFULLY STANDARD: This is not being voted out. This is the Tandas or WC room in one of the malls around Kuala Lumpur. Use tickets and everything goes to BOX. Photo of Asep Haryono

For a moment I imagined watching a 1999 cool film called "Entrapment" starring Sean Connery (playing as a Mac) and the sexy footed centric Catherine Zeta-Jones (as Gin) is one of the shooting locations in the Twin Towers (Twin Towers ) this. Very cool. Imagine if they are shooting in Jakarta there is a National Monument (MONAS) there. You can. Could be possible if forced to

The streets in the city of Kuala Lumpur are clean, and hardly sounded by vehicle horns at all. According to KL residents, the use of the horn is not recommended, and may even be prohibited.

Public telephone specifically for calling the fire department, for example, Police can directly connect without having to insert coins first. An orderly highway (though not quite, congested, and also vehicle) may also be supported by awareness and ownership of Kuala Lumpur residents as well. I hope so.

For dinner, we all want culinary on the road. Too bad I forgot or missed documenting the culinary. Wow, there's a short video, but I'm afraid that it will take too long to upload on YouTube.

What I remember at that time besides the tasting of Fat Rice (Curry Chicken Rice), it was cheap, and it was around 5 Malaysian Ringgit (Around 18-20 Thousand Rupiah). Affordable enough huh. It's different if in SYDNEY in one of Padang restaurants in Sydney - the price of 1 corncake can only be 2 AUD $ or equivalent to Rp. 20,000, - that's just one corncake only. (Have I ever been to Sydney? Not yet. How do you know? I'm browsing on the internet- oh yeah yeah-red).
