Enjoy the Culinary Briyani Rice in Pontianak

Pontianak Has anyone ever tried Biryani Rice? At a minimum, have you ever heard the name of one of the culinary supposedly typical Arab Nasi Biryani menus? I have often heard it, see the picture either through print media and or through online media about Biryani Rice.

And Alhamdulillah coincidentally last night (11/16) I finally got the chance to taste this Biryani Rice when I got dinner with Sheikh Assem Ahmed Ghazi Meshaal with the administrators of the Babul Jannah Mosque Jl Suwignyo Pontianak

How it feels
Let's first see what Biryani Rice is. I got the information from various sources, one of which came from Wikipedia, Indonesian to complete this simple writing

According to Indonesian Wikipedia, it is stated that this biryani rice originates from South Asia (India and Pakistan). For Indonesia and Malaysia, the name of this dish is called with the addition of rice. The meaning of the word The name of this dish ("Biryani") comes from Persian, beryā (n) (بریان) which means fried or grilled. In ancient times, rice was fried in jasmine oil before boiling in water with spices until half cooked

So based on information from Wikipedia, Nasi Biryani is a dish in the form of rice cooked with spices and made from rice that has been boiled in a separate pan. But what I saw and tasted was the Biryani Rice which was packaged in a large enough Foil element container and in the middle was served a few pieces of cooked Goat meat that had been cooked boiled. Sensi is springy and the aroma of the oil is felt. The distinctive aroma but nevertheless it is not too spicy (not too savory) for the tongue of Indonesian people who like to savory dishes.

I took just a few small spoons from this Biryani Rice. After I tried a bribe and entered into the mouth it feels rather hard rice, may be served as it is in accordance with the original recipe of the ancestors of Biryani Rice. Rice with a rather hard texture and the shape and color have a very high resemblance to Fried Rice.

Goat dish on top I just took a little just Tasted chewy enough goat meat boiled with a taste that is not too tasty. Alhamdulillah, finally I arrived and also tasted this Biryani Rice Culinary. It's nice to be able to adventure with a culinary that is said to be typical of the Arabs and the Middle East.  (Asep Haryono)

Menikmati Kuliner Nasi Biryani Di Pontiaak

Pontianak Ada yang pernah mencoba Nasi Biryani? Minimal sudah pernah mendengar nama salah satu kuliner konon menu khasnya bangsa Arab Nasi Biryani ini? Saya sudah sering mendengarnya, melihat gambarnya baik melalui media cetak dan atau melalui media online perihal Nasi Biryani ini. Dan Alhamdulillah secara kebetulan tadi malam (16/11) saya akhirnya mendapatkan kesempatan mencicipi Nasi Biryani ini saat mendapat jamuan makan malam bersama Syekh Assem Ahmed Ghazi Meshaal bersama para pengurus Masjid Babul Jannah Jl Suwignyo Pontianak

Bagaimana cita rasanya
Sebelumnya yuk kita lihat dahulu apa itu Nasi Biryani. Informasinya saya peoleh dari berbagai sumber salah satunya berasal dari Wikipedia Bahasa Indonesia untuk melengkapi tulisan sederhana ini

Menurut Wikipedia Bahasa Indonesia disebutkan bahwa Nasi biryani  ini berasal dari Asia Selatan (India dan Pakistan). Untuk wilayah Indonesia dan Malaysia, nama hidangan ini disebut dengan tambahan kata nasi. Arti kata Nama hidangan ini ("Biryani") berasal dari Bahasa Persia, beryā(n) (بریان) yang berarti goreng atau panggang. Pada zaman dulu, beras digoreng di dalam Minyak samin sebelum direbus di dalam air bersama rempah-rempah hingga setengah matang

Jadi berdasarkan informasi dari wikipedia tersebut Nasi Biryani adalah hidangan berupa nasi yang dimasak dengan rempah-rempah dan dibuat dari beras yang sudah direbus di panci terpisah. Namun yang saya liat dan cicipi Nasi Biryani ini dikemas dalam sebuah wadah elemen Foil berukuran cukup besar dan ditengah tengahnya di sajikan beberapa potong daging Kambing yang sudah matang direbus.  Sensi kenyal dan aroma minyaknya terasa. Aroma yang khas namun demikian rasanya tidak terlalu spicy (tidak terlalu gurih) untuk lidah orang Indonesia yang gemar dengan hidangan yang berbumbu gurih.


Saya mengambil beberapa sendok kecil saja dari Nasi Biryani ini.  Setelah saya coba satu suap dan masuk ke dalam mulut memang terasa nasi yang agak keras, mungkin disajikan dengan demikian sesuai dengan resep asli leluhurhnya Nasi Biryani.  Nasi yang teksturnya agak keras, dan bentuk dan warnanya mempunyai kemiripan yang sangat tinggi dengan Nasi Goreng.   

Sajian Kambing di atasnya saya hanya mengambil sedikit saja  Terasa kenyal daging Kambingnya yang cukup matang direbus dengan rasa yang tidak terlalu gurih. Alhamdulillah akhirnya saya kesampaian juga mencicipi Kuliner Nasi Biryani ini. Senang rasanya bisa berpetualang dengan kuliner yang konon khas bangsa Arab dan Timur Tengah ini. (Asep Haryono)
