If you grew up in the late ‘80s or early ‘90s, you probably know the name Tommy Page. He was the guy with the soft voice, sweet smile, and touching love songs that made many people feel special. For a lot of fans, his song “A Shoulder To Cry On” was the background music of their teenage years. But Tommy Page was more than just a singer he was a kind soul, a music lover, and a person with a deep connection to his fans, especially in Indonesia.

Tommy Page was born on May 24, 1970, in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, USA. His full name was Thomas Alden Page. He started singing in clubs in New York when he was still very young, and it didn’t take long before he got noticed. He became famous after releasing “I’ll Be Your Everything” in 1990, a song he co-wrote with members of New Kids on the Block (NKOTB). That song reached number 1 on the Billboard chart!

Some people thought he was part of NKOTB, but that’s not true. He worked closely with them and even opened for their concerts, but he was always a solo singer.

A Star With A Big Heart
Tommy wasn’t just a one-hit wonder. He had other beautiful songs like “A Shoulder to Cry On”, “Paintings in My Mind”, and “When I Dream of You”. His songs were soft, romantic, and full of emotions and fans loved him for that.

What made Tommy extra special was his connection to fans. He wasn’t a superstar with a big ego. He stayed humble and often met his fans in person. In fact, he said many times that Indonesia was like his second home.

A memorable moment was when the singer of A Shoulder to Cry On, Tommy Page, was warmly welcomed at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday, November 13th, 2013, at 14:00 WIB. His concert in Indonesia was clearly something his fans had been eagerly waiting for.

His Visits to Indonesia
Tommy visited Indonesia many times, even before he became super famous. He said he had been to the country about 20 times in the early 1990s! Later, in 2013, he returned for a special concert in Jakarta and Surabaya. Fans were thrilled! He also did meet-and-greet events in 2015 and performed again in Solo and Jakarta in 2016. He always said Indonesian fans were loyal and respectful.

"Some well-known international singers (other than Tommy Page) who came to Indonesia and left unforgettable memories include Selena Gomez (2016), Katy Perry (2012), Shawn Mendes (2019), Ed Sheeran (2024), Coldplay (2023), and Lenka Kripac the singer of “Trouble Is a Friend” who visited in 2009, 2011, and 2013.

And of course, Tommy Page will always have a special place in the hearts of Indonesian fans. But as this list shows, many international artists have also felt the love and warmth of performing here".

His Personal Life
Tommy Page was openly gay and lived a happy life with his partner, Charlie, and their three children. He was proud of his family and often shared how much he loved them. Later in life, he worked behind the scenes in the music industry, helping young artists and even becoming a music executive at Billboard and Pandora.

His Sad Goodbye
On March 3, 2017, Tommy Page passed away at the age of 46. His death was ruled as suicide, and it was reported that he had been dealing with depression. His passing shocked many people around the world, especially his fans in Asia.

Even though he is no longer with us, Tommy Page’s voice and music still live on. His songs continue to comfort, inspire, and bring back sweet memories. He may be gone, but he will always be remembered not just as a singer, but as a gentle soul who touched many hearts.

It’s a sad day for rock and roll fans around the world. One of the most iconic figures in music history, Ozzy Osbourne, has passed away at the age of 76. His family confirmed the heartbreaking news earlier today, saying he died peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.

Whether you knew him as the frontman of Black Sabbath or as the wild solo artist who became a global legend, Ozzy Osbourne was truly one of a kind. From the moment he stepped onto the stage in the 1970s, he brought an energy and sound that would change heavy metal forever.

His death comes just weeks after what was meant to be his final farewell concert, held on July 5, 2025, in his hometown of Birmingham, England. The event, fittingly called “Back to the Beginning,” was a touching and powerful tribute to his decades-long career. Although Ozzy performed seated due to his battle with Parkinson’s disease, his voice and presence were as electrifying as ever.

Ozzy’s journey wasn’t an easy one. He faced struggles with addiction, health scares, and a rollercoaster ride of fame. But despite all of that, he kept pushing forwardand his fans never stopped loving him. Even in his later years, his music still spoke to generations, old and new.

I remember watching clips of him on stage, flashing that classic smile, flashing peace signs, and still rocking out like he was 25. That’s the magic of Ozzy, he never gave up, and he never stopped being himself.

For me personally, hearing about his passing brought back so many memories. I grew up hearing songs like Crazy Train, Paranoid, and No More Tears playing in the background of life. His music was loud, raw, and full of heart—and it made you feel something.

Ozzy was more than just a rock star. He was a husband, a father, and a symbol of rebellion, resilience, and authenticity. And now, he's left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Ozzy. The world is a little quieter without your voice in it, but your spirit will keep headbanging through speakers all over the globe. What’s your favorite Ozzy song or memory? Share it in the comments.

Let’s honor him together.

If Hello there. How is it going?

Ifyou grew up in the 90s or early 2000s, chances are you’ve heard the soulful voice of Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) echo through radios, cassette players, or even karaoke rooms.

One of their most iconic songs, “Someday”, became a timeless hit across Asia and beyond. But did you know the official music video for “Someday” was actually filmed on a beautiful beach in Indonesia, and that its production story is as heartwarming as the song itself?

Artistic scene inspired by Michael Learns To Rock’s 'Someday' music video, showing a beach setting with a band and a woman during sunset

A Music Video Born in Paradise
The music video for “Someday” was shot in 1995 on the stunning Padang-Padang Beach in Bali, Indonesia. At first glance, the video seems like a dreamy love story set by the sea. But behind the scenes, it was a mix of spontaneity, creativity, and a bit of luck.

The Danish band members Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz, and KÃ¥re Wanscher were on a break from their busy touring schedule and wanted to combine work with pleasure. They flew into Bali and decided to shoot the music video quickly so they could enjoy their vacation time. Believe it or not, the entire shoot only took about two hours to complete!

A Brazilian Star by Chance
Originally, the crew had planned to use local models to lip-sync and star in the video. But when the cameras started rolling, it turned out that the models had trouble syncing to the English lyrics.

That’s when fate stepped in. On the beach that day was a Brazilian surfer-girl who just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The crew asked her if she could help and she did, effortlessly syncing with the song and adding a natural charm to the video that fans still remember today.

Did you notice the lady in red circle there on this image? That Brazilian surfer-girl was never meant to be the star of the “Someday” video, but she absolutely became the heart of it.

She wasn’t an actress or model, just a tourist enjoying the waves. And yet, her performance helped give “Someday” that raw and emotional touch that connected with millions of fans worldwide

That Brazilian surfer-girl was never meant to be the star of the “Someday” video, but she absolutely became the heart of it. Her natural beauty, emotional expression, and effortless syncing with the lyrics gave the video its charm and soul.

That Brazilian surfer-girl wasn’t a professional model or actress just someone who happened to be there, but her presence left a lasting impression on millions of viewers across the world. In a way, she became an “accidental star.” Even though her name was never widely publicized, “The Mystery Girl of the Someday Video”? I have no idea. You tell me

I have no reliable information about these two guys. Were they Indonesian artists involved in the making of “Someday” by MLTR in Bali? Their physical appearance seems typically Indonesian, at least in my opinion. If you have any valid information, please let me know.

Indonesian Guitarist on the Video?
I couldn’t find any reliable information or sources indicating that MLTR trained two local Indonesian guitarists with long hair to perform in English during the “Someday” video shoot. Most documented behind-the-scenes stories focus on the surprise appearance of the Brazilian surfer-girl, who stepped in to lip-sync after the original models struggled with the English lyrics.

That said, it’s not uncommon for international productions to involve local musicians or helperssometimes brought on for practical assistance, crowd control, or small musical roles. However, in all interviews, fan accounts, and MLTR’s own reflections on the shoot, there’s no mention of training local guitarists for performance parts in the video.

There were no Indonesian guitarists directly involved in the making of the song “Someday” by Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR). MLTR is a band from Denmark. However, the band has performed concerts in Bali and shares a close relationship with their Indonesian fans.

"In the uploaded video, the MLTR members can be seen singing their song titled 'Someday' in a pavilion and they are dressed in white at Padang Beach, Bali,Indonesia the location where the music video for 'Someday' was filmed in 1995".

Returning to the Roots

Fast forward nearly 30 years later to February 2025, and MLTR returned to that very same beach in Bali. They filmed a special acoustic version of “Someday” and posted it on TikTok. Dressed in white, the band members played the song with heartfelt simplicity, surrounded by the same waves and sand that had inspired their video decades earlier. Their caption read, “Back to where the magic began”—and for longtime fans, it truly felt like magic.

More Than Just a Love Song Behind every great music video is a story—of chance encounters, beautiful locations, and people who make it all happen. “Someday” isn’t just a romantic ballad. It’s a tribute to Bali, to the fans who’ve kept it alive, and to the unforgettable memories of making something beautiful with just a little planning, a lot of heart, and a lucky wave.

So the next time you hear “Someday”, remember the beach, the Brazilian surfer, and that short but unforgettable moment of music history. As Israel’s most powerful ally, the U.S. provides billions in military aid, advanced weapons, and perhaps most importantly diplomatic protection.

Are you familiar with “Soldier of Fortune” by Deep Purple? It’s one of those hauntingly beautiful ballads that has resonated with listeners for decades. Even if you’ve never called yourself a Deep Purple fan, there’s a good chance the song has touched you with its raw emotion and introspective lyrics.

Released in 1974 on their Stormbringer album, “Soldier of Fortune” was written by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and vocalist David Coverdale. Despite never being released as a single, the song has become a fan favorite and has inspired numerous covers by artists from different genres. Its appeal is timeless, transcending generations and connecting with anyone who has ever felt like a wanderer in life.

An Illustration of Soldier Of Fortune

At first glance, the title might suggest a literal mercenary a soldier of fortune traveling to fight in faraway wars. But the truth is far more poetic and emotional. The song is not about guns, battles, or glory. It’s about life, longing, and the quiet solitude of a wandering soul.

The Writers & Their Intent
Ritchie Blackmore and David Coverdale wrote “Soldier of Fortune” during a period of personal and musical transition. By the early 1970s, Blackmore had grown weary of Deep Purple’s new direction toward funkier, heavier styles. He longed for more melodic, introspective music, and this song was his creative outlet.

David Coverdale, who had just joined Deep Purple at the time, has explained in interviews that the song is about a lonely traveler a man drifting through life, searching for something meaningful, whether it be love, purpose, or a place to belong. Coverdale emphasized:

“It’s not about a literal soldier. It’s about a man who’s been searching for something maybe his whole life and hasn’t found it.”

And that sentiment really comes through in the music. The gentle guitar, the haunting melody, and Coverdale’s soulful voice combine to create a reflective, almost melancholic atmosphere. It’s a song about feeling lost, yet somehow still moving forward.

The Metaphorical Meaning of the Title
So why “soldier of fortune”? Traditionally, the phrase refers to a person who lives by their wits, often taking risks, traveling constantly, and never settling down. In the song, it’s a metaphor for a man who has drifted through life guided by chance rather than a clear purpose. He is a wanderer in the emotional sense a person shaped by experiences, heartache, and the passage of time.

Lyrics like:

“I have often told you stories about the way / I lived the life of a drifter, waiting for the day…”

...capture this sense of restlessness and longing. The song reflects a life marked by missed opportunities and unfulfilled desires. It’s relatable on a universal level who hasn’t, at some point, felt like they were searching for something just out of reach?

Why the Song Is Often Misunderstood
Many listeners assume the title refers to a literal soldier, possibly romanticizing the idea of adventure and battle. But the song is not about war or physical combat it’s about emotional and personal struggle. The soldier in this context is heart-weary, emotionally scarred, and navigating life’s uncertainties with resilience and reflection.

You may read - Remembering Tommy Page. Before he died, He Used To Meet his fans in Indonesia in 2013

In fact, the haunting guitar lines and melancholic melody are part of what makes the song so enduring. They mirror the emotional journey of someone who has wandered, experienced loss, and continues to seek meaning in life. It’s a quiet reminder that not all battles are fought with weapons sometimes the hardest battles are fought in the human heart.

Why It Still Resonates
One reason “Soldier of Fortune” has remained relevant for so many years is that it speaks to universal themes: searching, longing, regret, and the passage of time. Everyone experiences periods of uncertainty or self-discovery, and the song’s poetic lyrics capture that journey perfectly.

It’s also a song that can inspire introspection. When you listen closely, you might find yourself reflecting on your own journey, the choices you’ve made, and the roads you’ve taken or haven’t taken. That’s what makes it evergreen. Even decades after its release, the emotions it evokes are timeless.

Beyond the Lyrics
“Soldier of Fortune” also reminds us of the beauty of storytelling through music. Ritchie Blackmore’s melodic guitar riffs and David Coverdale’s expressive vocals transport listeners to a place of reflection and emotion. This is a style of songwriting that never goes out of style, precisely because it speaks to fundamental human experiences.

Even today, the song continues to inspire artists and fans alike. Cover versions, tributes, and covers across genres keep the emotional message alive. It’s proof that music can transcend time, offering comfort, nostalgia, and insight into the human condition.

Summary
At its core, “Soldier of Fortune” is not about literal battles. It’s about the journey we all take through lifesometimes drifting, sometimes wandering, and often searching for meaning or connection. The metaphorical soldier of fortune is any person who has experienced longing, reflection, or the bittersweet passage of time.

So the next time you listen to “Soldier of Fortune”, remember: it’s not a war story. It’s a deeply human story a ballad of hope, regret, and the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward, even when the path isn’t clear

. What does “Soldier of Fortune” mean to you? Share your thoughts and reflections in the comments I’d love to hear your perspective on this timeless classic.

Have you ever what “What Would You Do” TV program?

WWYD is a compelling and thought-provoking show that delves into the morality and instincts of everyday people when faced with real-life ethical dilemmas.By using hidden cameras to capture unfiltered reactions, it reveals the true nature of human behavior—whether individuals choose to intervene or stay silent. Host John Quiñones masterfully guides viewers through each scenario, highlighting the courage, empathy, or indifference of bystanders.

John Quiñones is an American television journalist best known as the longtime host of the ABC hidden-camera show What Would You Do?. With a career spanning decades, he's been a respected figure in broadcast journalism, known for highlighting ethical dilemmas, social justice issues, and the voices of underrepresented communities.

The show not only entertains but educates, sparking necessary conversations about racism, injustice, and social responsibility. Its impact lies in challenging us to reflect on our values and asking ourselves the powerful question: What would you do? It’s a meaningful reminder of the importance of standing up for what’s right.

I watched a series with the title "Interracial couple discriminated against l First broadcast on 5/30/2014 | WWYD" is captivating and interesting to discuss with.  You could have watched its video on youtube here

In 1969, public support for interracial marriage in the United States was alarmingly low. According to Gallup polling data from that period, only 20% of Americans approved of marriages between Black and White individuals, while a staggering 73% disapproved.

“John Quiñones stands beside an interracial couple on a city street, symbolizing themes of social justice, moral courage, and changing attitudes toward interracial marriage. Bold text reads: ‘What Would You Do? Exploring Human Morality and the Evolution of Attitudes Toward Interracial Marriage.’”

This disapproval reflected deeply ingrained racial prejudices and the lingering legacy of segregation and slavery. Interracial relationships, particularly Black-White unions, were often viewed as taboo, socially unacceptable, or even threatening to the social order by many Americans.

The low support rate in 1969 came just two years after a pivotal moment in U.S. civil rights history — the 1967 Supreme Court decision in Loving v. Virginia.

This landmark case struck down all remaining anti-miscegenation laws in 16 states, declaring that laws banning interracial marriage were unconstitutional. The decision was a monumental legal victory, but it did not immediately translate into widespread social acceptance. Most Americans were still resistant to the idea, revealing the deep divide between legal equality and societal attitudes.

"I love watching WWYD at least once in a week due to the show gave me everything including the joy of learning American accent which can be very challenging. Its stunning and incredible TV Show"

The opposition was not uniform across the country. Disapproval was especially high in the South, where racial segregation and Jim Crow laws had been most entrenched. Cultural traditions, fear of social ostracism, and religious beliefs all contributed to the resistance. Among older and more conservative populations, support was significantly lower than among younger, more liberal individuals.

Over the decades, public opinion has shifted dramatically. By 1991, Gallup reported that 48% of Americans approved of interracial marriage. A major turning point came in the 21st century. In 2011, for the first time, Gallup found that over 80% of Americans supported interracial marriage.

In its 2021 poll, that number rose to 94%, showing a near-complete reversal of attitudes compared to 1969. This change reflects broader societal trends toward acceptance, diversity, and inclusivity.

Several factors contributed to this shift. Increased representation of interracial couples in media, greater social integration, and changing demographics have all played a role. As younger, more diverse generations replaced older ones, tolerance and acceptance of racial differences became more widespread. Interracial marriages themselves became more common — in 1967, only about 3% of all U.S. marriages were interracial, but by 2020, that number had grown to about 19%, according to the Pew Research Center.

Despite this progress, challenges remain. Some interracial couples still face discrimination, microaggressions, or lack of family support. Nonetheless, the journey from 20% approval in 1969 to over 90% today is a powerful indicator of social change.

In conclusion, the 1969 figure of 20% approval for interracial marriage marked a time of rigid racial attitudes. But over the past five decades, American society has undergone a significant transformation. Legal decisions, cultural evolution, and generational change have helped foster a broader acceptance of racial diversity in romantic relationships. The data tell a story of progress — one that continues to unfold.

Its cool, right?

The Surprising Benefits of Sleeping Naked: Why You Should Ditch the Pajamas

While many people slip into cozy pajamas or loungewear before bed, an increasing number of health and wellness experts are touting the benefits of sleeping in the nude. Though it may feel unusual at first, sleeping naked offers a surprising range of physical, mental, and even relationship-related advantages. Here’s a closer look at why ditching your bedtime clothes might be worth considering.

1. Improved Sleep Quality
One of the most compelling reasons to sleep naked is that it can actually help you sleep better. Your body temperature naturally drops as you prepare for sleep, and staying cooler can support deeper, more restorative rest. Wearing clothing to bed can trap heat and interfere with this natural cooling process. Sleeping naked allows your body to regulate its temperature more effectively, which may help you fall asleep faster and experience fewer interruptions throughout the night.

2. Better Skin Health
Tight or synthetic sleepwear can cause friction and irritation, especially in warmer environments or for those with sensitive skin. Sleeping without clothes allows your skin to breathe, reducing the risk of skin conditions like rashes, breakouts, or fungal infections in areas prone to sweating. Airflow also helps keep areas like the armpits, groin, and feet dry, which can prevent the buildup of bacteria.

3. Enhanced Hormone Regulation
Temperature plays a crucial role in hormone production during sleep. Lower body temperatures encourage the release of melatonin and growth hormone, both of which are essential for cell repair, metabolism, and anti-aging processes. By maintaining an optimal sleep temperature through naked sleeping, your body can more easily access these restorative hormonal benefits.

4. Boosted Relationship Intimacy
For couples, sleeping naked together can strengthen emotional and physical bonds. Skin-to-skin contact increases the release of oxytocin, often referred to as the “love hormone,” which can foster feelings of trust, attachment, and intimacy. Even without physical intimacy, simply lying together without barriers can enhance closeness and connection.

5. Improved Fertility in Men
Men who are trying to conceive may find that sleeping naked supports reproductive health. Tight underwear or sleepwear can raise the temperature of the testicles, potentially affecting sperm quality and production. Cooler sleeping environments—achievable by sleeping naked—support better sperm health.

6. Promotes Body Positivity and Confidence
Regularly sleeping naked can help increase comfort with your own body. While it may feel awkward at first, over time it can normalize being in your own skin, promote self-acceptance, and reduce body shame. This small habit may boost overall self-esteem and confidence in unexpected ways.

A Few Considerations
While sleeping naked has numerous benefits, it’s not for everyone. Those living with roommates or in shared housing might feel more comfortable in light sleepwear. Additionally, if you experience night sweats or are prone to feeling cold, layering with breathable, natural fabrics like cotton or bamboo may be a good compromise.

Cleanliness is also key—washing sheets regularly becomes even more important when sleeping without clothes to prevent the buildup of sweat and bacteria.

Final Thoughts Sleeping naked is a simple, cost-free change that may offer a surprising boost to your physical health, emotional well-being, and even your relationship. If you're curious, try it for a few nights and see how your body—and your sleep—responds. You just might find that the best pajamas are no pajamas at all.

The Eagles’ 1977 classic “Hotel California” has fascinated music lovers for nearly five decades. With its haunting melody, mysterious lyrics, and unforgettable guitar solo, the song has sparked countless debates and interpretations. Is it about a real hotel? A metaphor for fame? Or perhaps something darker? Whatever the meaning, “Hotel California” remains one of the most iconic rock songs ever written, still played on radio stations and at parties all over the world today.

Let’s take a closer look at the story behind this masterpiece where it came from, what it means, and why it continues to capture imaginations.

Not a Real Hotel, But a Metaphor
One of the biggest misconceptions is that “Hotel California” was written about a specific hotel. Fans have searched for decades, with some swearing it’s about the Beverly Hills Hotel, while others point to a mission-style inn in Baja California, Mexico. But according to Don Henley, the hotel is more of a metaphor than a real place.

Henley once explained that the song is about “a journey from innocence to experience… a commentary on the dark underbelly of the American Dream.” In other words, “Hotel California” symbolizes the glamorous but dangerous lifestyle of 1970s California: money, fame, excess, and the emptiness that sometimes followed.

So while Henley was inspired by experiences at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the “Hotel California” isn’t just a building you can check into it’s a state of mind.

an Illustration of the EAGLES- Hotel California

Lyrics Packed with Symbolism
The song’s lyrics are a big part of its mystery. The “dark desert highway” sets the scene, the “shimmering light” feels like a mirage, and by the time we hear about the “master’s chambers,” listeners are fully drawn into the eerie atmosphere.

Fans have come up with endless interpretations:

• Fame and excess – the song as a warning about the traps of success. • Addiction – some listeners hear references to drug culture in the 1970s. • Spiritual emptiness – the sense that people were searching for meaning but finding only indulgence.

One of the most quoted lines is: “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.” For many, this sums up the idea that once you’re caught up in a destructive lifestyle, it’s not easy to escape.

The Music That Made It Legendary
While the lyrics give the song its mystery, the music is what makes it unforgettable. Don Felder originally wrote the demo on a 12-string guitar, and when Joe Walsh joined the Eagles, he added his own touch, helping shape the iconic dual guitar solos at the end.

That final instrumental Felder and Walsh trading lines back and forth has been studied by musicians for decades. Rolling Stone once called it one of the greatest guitar solos of all time, and many guitarists still learn it note-for-note today.

The recording wasn’t easy, though. The band spent months perfecting every detail. According to Glenn Frey, the process was intense, but the payoff was huge. The result was a song that blended rock, folk, and even classical influences into something completely unique.

The Album and Its Legacy

“Hotel California” was the title track of the Eagles’ fifth studio album, released in December 1976. The album itself was a massive success, winning the Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 1978 and selling over 32 million copies worldwide.

But beyond the awards, “Hotel California” became a cultural touchstone. It’s the kind of song people remember where they were the first time they heard it. It has been covered by dozens of artists, from rock bands to mariachi groups, proving its universal appeal.

Even today, whether you’re a die-hard classic rock fan or just someone who loves good music, chances are you know the opening lines by heart.

Why It Still Matters
So, why does “Hotel California” continue to resonate with listeners decades later? Here are a few timeless takeaways:

1. It captures universal themes. The song isn’t just about the 1970s it’s about temptation, choices, and the search for meaning, all of which are still relevant today. 2. It’s a reminder about balance. Whether it’s fame, wealth, or lifestyle, too much of anything can lead to emptiness. 3. It showcases musical brilliance. The guitar work, harmonies, and production make it a timeless piece of art, not just a song of its era. 4. It sparks conversation. Songs that leave room for interpretation tend to last longer in cultural memory.
If you think about it, that’s the power of great music it grows with you. What you heard as a teenager might feel completely different when you listen again years later.

Summary
At its heart, “Hotel California” is more than just a hit song from the ’70s. It’s a story, a warning, and a masterpiece rolled into one. Whether you interpret it as a critique of fame, a metaphor for addiction, or simply a haunting rock ballad, there’s no denying its impact.

The Eagles managed to create something that feels both specific to its time and timeless for future generations. And maybe that’s the real magic of “Hotel California” it’s not just about where you’ve been, but about where your journey is taking you.

So the next time you hear those opening guitar notes, take a moment to appreciate not just the music, but the layers of meaning that make this song truly unforgettable.

A film that tells the story of an American b-17 bomber in the Second World War era and its crew, but maybe everyone doesn't know why the Memphis Belle became a famous and legendary aircraft for the United States. for the US Army air Corps or now the American Air Force with factory serial number 3470

While the Military serial number is 41 strat 2448 these five aircraft entered Army air Corps test inventory on 15 July 1942 in September of that year The aircraft will be assigned to its unit in the 91st bombardment group at Bangor Mine a month later its journey to war will begin on 1 October 1942

He flew to his permanent home in the bomber squadron or when it was called the 324th bomber squadron, yes, it was at the Rafba Singh Brown base, England, as was the tradition at that time, planes were allowed to be named by their own crew, the name Memphis Belle itself was inspired by Margaret Fox, a woman who became Robert's lover. k Morgan the file plane pilot is a resident of Memphis tennessee

At first he intended to name the plane as little one pop's pet name not long after Morgan and the gfriends couple watched the film Lady fortnite Where the leading artist owned a riverboat nicknamed the Memphis Belle after watching the film Morgan and his team agreed to name their plane with Memphis Belle

Then he contacted Jose from Esquire magazine where he asked for a girl's picture for the name Teti agreed and gave him a painting of a woman that had been published in the April 2941 issue of the painting then painted by group 91 artist Corporal Tony Stark er then what made Memphis pellets so famous in November 7, 1942 Belle flies For her first combat mission

This was the start of her great story since Belle became the first heavy bomber to complete 25 missions with her crew intact and make it back to the United States a feat that many considered impossible as the average in the then 8th air force was 18 missions. before losing the plane or initially

Belle was a tough girl repeatedly taking gunfire and kept flying when it was damaged she was quickly repaired and the Crew flew on another plane among the damage repaired including replacement of 9 engines both grandpa or wing and both main landing gear [Music] originally the plane was on a bombing mission against Nazi positions in France his first mission was to attack the French city of Brest on 7 November 1942

While the first mission to attack Germany was carried out on February 14, 1943 by dropping a bomb on the city of HAM, the last mission was on May 17, 1943 by attacking the city of Lorian, France and after that the plane was flown back to the United States on June 8, 1943 to tour Warbon, the plane was still flown by the original crew. Billy during the war

It was during this trip that the names of the crew were added to the plane as well as the 25 bombs which marked the 25 successful missions. Memphis tennessee

The plane was finally placed in storage until 1949 until he was transferred to be placed in the national for the Armory where he sat until the 1980s his condition worsened because he was outdoors even a number of parts were stolen and damaged in the 1970s

Another mayor returned the plane to the U.S. Air Force who allowed the city to keep the plane on condition that it be returned to its former glory in 2003 Belle was moved to an indoor restoration facility but again no action was taken this condition led to the U.S. Air Force requesting that the plane be returned to them to be restored and displayed in the National Museum of the American Air Force Tono Hyo shop

In October 2005 the restoration of the Memphis Belle began 12 years of painstaking restoration the dream of the Memphis Belle being restored has finally come true this being part of the most extensive restoration in history the Belle Air Force museum was completely torn apart rebuilt and painted money exactly as she landed after his 25th mission

In may-2018 the aircraft was officially placed in the Museum of mission although admittedly Belle reached the rare number 25 in fact it is not the first honored bomber it actually belongs to the b-24 liberator Hot Stuff from bombardment group 330 who completed this extraordinary milestone three and a half months previously Unfortunately the Liberator crashed while on its way to America for a Warbon tour after completing five additional missions in Europe. The fascinating pastime of bird watching is enjoyed by people of all ages and socioeconomic levels. It comprises observing and recognizing a wide variety of birds in their natural habitats with the use of binoculars, telescopes, and the human eye.

Bird watching is also a wonderful way to connect with nature, appreciate the beauty of our surroundings, and learn about different bird species. Not only is bird watching fun, but it also benefits the economy and the environment. Diverse groups of bird watchers are interested in different aspects of the biodiversity of birds to varying degrees.

Some bird watchers call themselves "twitchers," or individuals who strive to observe and record as many birds as they can. On the other hand, 17.8 million well-educated, environmentally conscious people travel the world as part of a growing recreational activity known as bird watching to see birds in their natural habitats.

This market is expanding, has a substantial economic impact, and might contribute millions of dollars to local economies. Even today, the study of birds is interdisciplinary and draws on geography, sociology, ecology, economics, and conservation. It's referred to as avitourism.Compared to hunting, passive leisure activities like bird watching have a much larger potential to support community-based conservation.

Because it's simple, enjoyable, and a great way to spend time outdoors, birding is one of the world's fastest-growing pastimes. Additionally, birds are stunning, fascinating creatures that can be found in almost any habitat, including urban areas. Once you start paying closer attention to birds, you'll be joining the ranks of many renowned birders.

How to get started today to get started birding
If you hang up a bird feeder or keep in mind that the type of food you put out can determine what kinds of birds visit to your feeder, you can learn a lot just 10 minutes of window-watching. Being able to engage in birding pretty much anywhere, at any time, makes it a fantastic activity. If, however, you come to the conclusion that you are truly fascinated by birds, you may someday join the ranks of ardent birders who travel great distances to watch rare birds as they migrate.

Consistency is important. Fortunately, this is still another fantastic part of birding. The next thing you'll need is birding equipment. Particularly in times of scarcity, birds are far more likely to visit feeders that have been regularly refreshed. Be patient because it can take some time for the neighborhood birds to find your feeder.

All you really need is a reliable field guide, which you can use as an app on your smartphone if you don't want to spend money on pricey equipment. I'll be looking at various wildlife ID applications in a later movie, but I particularly value the practicality of field guides in the form of books. Binoculars could be helpful as well. Before you start burning, a tape recorder, a waterproof notebook, or even a camera are all options.

Use your field guide properly and pay special attention to the so-called field marks, which are characteristic colorations or patterns on birds that make them easy to spot even from a distance or while perched high in a tree. You might wish to start taking notes about the birds you see after you start watching them.

Many websites and citizen science initiatives would want to gather your birdwatching data. Thousands of bird sighting reports from all over the world can be found on the website eBird. Many birders maintain a life list that details the time and location of the first time you saw each species.

To see which birds are most likely to be observed in your region, consult the Ebert records. Scientists may use this data to predict future bird populations. You could also participate in the Big Backyard Bird Count and the Christmas Bird Count sponsored by the Audubon Society.

While participating in these activities is optional, it's best to go birding with a friend. In addition to family, there are several birdwatching clubs whose members will be ready to mentor new birders. I first became interested in birds thanks to my grandpa, with whom I spent many weekends in the woods together.

I'll provide some links in the description, but let's try some simple bird identification first. This is a classic. The American Robin can be recognized by its black head, grey back, and orange tummy. It is another common sighting across much of North America. However, the male English sparrow in this image can be recognized by its brown back, grayish-white stomach, and little black patch beneath its beak.

To the left of the yellowish birds with black and white banded wings, which are American gold finches, is a tall, grayish blue bird with a darker cap on its head. Eastern bluebirds are the birds with blue backs and orangish red tummies. Finally, let's do one water bird for fun.

Do you have a favorite place to go bird watching? When did you start learning to bird, and did you have a teacher or did you learn it on your own? I really believe that everyone should give birding a try at least once, and perhaps this post has equipped you with the information and know-how to begin.

Imagine ordering a coffee and slipping into a daydream. Are you also hearing Jennifer Garner, ask "what's in your wallet?" Well, what's in your wallet is very important. And as for all that credit card rewards talk, she might be on to something.

Most people should be able to save at least a few hundred dollars every year just by using the right credit cards. If you travel as much as Peyton Manning or are a diehard Swifty trying to save on those expensive concert tickets, as these commercials will tell you, there's a card for everyone.

And those cards will save you money. Well, that is if you have the funds to make the rewards worthwhile. They could be really useful, or they could be dangerous. I think the biggest tip is to know yourself. Love them or hate them, those plastic or metal cards that can instantly purchase anything from a coffee to a car are no stranger to consumers, more than 80% of Americans own at least one credit card. Every time you pay for something with a credit card, you're borrowing money from the card issuer to cover your purchase.

Why You Should Buy Everything With Credit Cards

While it might feel like it, it's certainly not free, you then have to pay that money back either in full at the end of the month or over time - with interest. The average credit card charges about 20% interest these days. So it is a very profitable business. So first things first.

If you're not in a place where you can pay that money back by the time it's due, experts don't recommend you have a credit card at all. 20% interest on a balance that you've accumulated and then you pay interest on top of that. I mean, that's a really big hole that you're continuing to dig and it's going to be really hard to get out of if you don't pay your credit card balance. Credit cards require approval. Once you're approved, the bank authorizes a credit limit or the maximum amount of money you can borrow.

That depends on factors such as your income, your other debts, and how much available credit you have on other cards. But here's the caveat: whether or not you're approved depends on your credit score. Meanwhile, your credit score is determined by your credit report the information related to your credit activity activity you might not have if you don't have a credit card. It's a catch 22.

How do you build your credit history?
Well, the simplest thing is really to get a credit card, use your credit card and pay it on time. Credit scores generally range from 300 to 850. The higher the credit score, the more responsible you're deemed. Credit scores not only affect whether or not you get approved for credit cards, but also your credit limit.

And your interest rate on loans, mortgages and the terms lenders may assign you. insurance providers landlords and employers might also want to do a check to determine your trustworthiness. If your goals are to buy a house, get a car, get a loan. The first thing that you need to do in order to build your credit history is to get that credit card going.

Those Jennifer Garner commercials are for Capital One, but there are numerous companies in the US that offer a wide range of credit cards. There's the issuers American Express, Discover Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo, and then there are the networks.

They facilitate transactions between the merchants and the card issuers. The four major card networks are Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Two of the world's largest card networks, American Express and Discover, are also card issuers. There are standard credit cards, rewards cards, balance, transfer charge, student business secured limited purpose prepaid cards, and the list goes on - different options that may or may not be right for you depending on your personal circumstances. Standard credit cards are the most traditional type.

They have an Annual Percentage Rate or APR, sign-up bonuses, annual fees, late payment fees, balance transfer fees, foreign transaction fees and the most exciting - rewards. There's actually a whole industry dedicated to maximizing credit card points and miles. Some people love it and they love going down that rabbit hole and treating it like a game.

Bankrate.com Senior Analyst Ted Rossman earned more than $1,700 in rewards in 2022. But getting the most out of your credit cards depends on your spending habits, which perks would save you the most money. So how do you choose? If your family spends a lot on groceries, get a card that gives 5% or 6% cash back on groceries, like that's a really nice inflation buster right there.

Maybe consider a second card that's just a solid flat rate, something like 2% cash back on everything. Most people should be able to get at least $200, $300, $400 a year just by using the right cards. Rossman says the rewards that get the most attention are often travel related flights, hotels, rental cars, access to airport lounges, free or discounted TSA PreCheck, priority passes, Global Entry or clear to get you through those long airport lines.

I think a really good strategy for a lot of people is one of those transferable points cards, something like Chase Sapphire Reserve or Amex platinum. Being able to transfer to different airlines and hotels opens up a lot of options. The sort of next level tip is within that - if you find partners of partners like United's part of the Star Alliance and American as part of one world. Then there's rewards for dining, groceries, gas, and also complimentary memberships and subscriptions.

Big perks for many are extended warranty and purchase protection. A couple of years ago, I actually saved $300 on an Apple watch repair, the credit card covered the replacement. But according to Bankrate, Americans' favorite credit card reward is cash back. Think especially now with high inflation, I mean, who couldn't use more cash right? Whereas redeeming for merchandise will likely not get you the most bang for your buck.

Other rewards include sign-up bonuses, fraud protection, and having the ability to invest your money and take advantage of interest rates. Another thing to consider is how much work you're willing to do.

Are you that person who's going to tape notes onto your cards to remind yourself which should be used for different types of purchases? I know some people that have 30 or more credit cards, and they have really good credit, and they get really good perks, and they're constantly flying first class for free.

Now that's not for everybody. Of course, the average American has about four credit cards. But even with four cards, sometimes there can be a game element to this. Having multiple cards and playing that rewards game can get you some substantial sign-up bonuses, like the Capital One Venture Rewards credit cards' 75,000 miles, or Ink Business Unlimited's $900 in cash back.

If you are playing this rewards game, which a lot of people like to do, because they like that upfront bonus, you're getting a new credit card, and then you close it out, you're losing that credit history. So my recommendation is not to do that.

Only use a credit card if you can use it responsibly. American credit card balances reached $986 billion in the last three months of 2022. The big fork in the road is whether or not you carry a balance. If you pay your credit cards in full every month, then yeah, I think you should use your credit card for everything because rewards are great, they can really add up over time.

Even though it's simple math, a 2022 survey found that among credit card holders who carry a balance, cash back was more than four times as popular as a low interest rate. Meanwhile, a large share of those who owe debt - 40% - don't even know the interest rate for the primary card on which they owe money.

One of the biggest things that we see about the spending of credit cards and those that are using it incorrectly are those that are either from lower income households, those that are uneducated in this because no one is talking to them about money.

A recent Bankrate survey found that 30% of those without a high school degree didn't redeem the rewards compared to 16% with a four-year degree and the lower an American's income, the more likely they were to let those rewards sit as well. More than 30% of those with annual household incomes below $50,000 left value on the table, compared to about 20% of those with incomes between $50,000 and nearly $80,000.

And just more than 10% with incomes of $100,000 or more. SageMint Wealth managing partner Anh Tran says culture plays a big part in how people spend. I grew up in an immigrant family, I wasn't taught about personal finance, you just make as much money as you can and get yourself out and build wealth for yourself. Tran recommends having two credit cards and three if you're a business owner: one for primary expenses, a second as a backup, and a third to keep business expenses separate.

She says there should also be thought going into your credit card limit and your spending ratio. Let's say you have one credit card, and you've got a $10,000 limit on there, and you spent all the way up to $9,000. That actually will lower your credit score because your credit-to-debt ratio is not good because you've used up most of your credit. So the rule of thumb is I would say try to stick to around 30% and using what your credit availability is.

And so that's why having a second card will give you a little bit of leeway and giving you more credit to spend. For those with credit card debt while experts don't recommend you open multiple credit cards and try to maximize your rewards, that doesn't mean you shouldn't work on ways to build your credit so that you can get to that place. If you have credit card debt, no shame a lot of people do - about half of card holders, but you need to put your interest rate first.

So maybe seek out a 0% balance transfer card or stick to the lowest rate card you can find or just use cash or debit until you're debt free. There are a lot of cash back rewards cards that do not have annual fees that will give you 1% back on all your purchases, and that is probably the most simple.

Now let's say you get to a place where you've got some plastic in hand, and you're feeling good about those rewards. The work doesn't end there. She says you should continue to reevaluate your debt and credit cards at least once a month Tracking your finances, whether it's on an Excel spreadsheet or using an app like mint.com, something that will track what all of your assets, all of your debt and liabilities are so that you know where everything is.

And if you're racking up those points, use them. Almost a quarter of rewards credit card holders haven't redeemed any rewards in the past year. And that's an improvement from the 31% of those who didn't in the preceding 12 months. It doesn't get more valuable over time.

In fact, a lot of times these programs change their rules in ways that the industry calls devaluations like basically it costs more points or miles to get the free flight or the free hotel stay. So use them sooner rather than later. And then cash back can lose value to inflation. Most people are scared of money and you shouldn't be. If you know the facts and you understand how money works, it can be really empowering. (Source : CNBC)
