www.simplyasep.com On the last November 2009, I was among of those about 500 lucky youth from South East Asia attending Youth Forum called Youth Engagement Sumit - South East Asia For Change (SEACHANGE) held at Putrajaya Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I did not have much time at that time to travel around the city of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. I am so happy to write down again some of unforgettable experiences during that 2-day visit to Kuala Lumpur last November 2009. I wa supposed to do discussing and sharing ideas and knowledge during the conference.
I have had very little time to explore Kuala Lumpur. I was so lucky, however I was busy at the moment during the youth conference, I have finally been able to visit Twin Towers in KLCC, the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to go to the top of the Petronas Twin Towers. Some videos I have recorded during the visit which I wlll be pleased to tell you later on
What else I have left behind during my last 2-day visit to Kuala Lumpur last November 2009?

What else I have left behind during my last 2-day visit to Kuala Lumpur last November 2009?
- AirAsia flight. I still remember that I did not fly with Air Asia. Every one in the world knows about the most affordable and outstanding air transportation in the world, Air Asia with very generous and amazing man behind the successful the Air Asia, Datuk Tony Fernandes. The Air Asia led the way for low-cost travels in the Southeast Asia, and Malaysia's where it all started.
- Never use local Taxi in Kuala Lumpur. Unlike in Indonesia, we have two format on the payment of the services from the Taxis : online Taxis and conventional ones. Those are online system used Application and paid the service as they are printed in the system of the application of the Taxis. While local ones use Meter usage on the dashboard inside the Taxi vehicle, and the cab drivers can switch them on. How about in Kuala Lumpur. I really have no idea. Someday I would like to feel it, and use the local Taxi someday
- Drinking Milos. Do you know MILO? Milo is one of the most famous brand of family healthy chocholate drinks consumed all people in the world, and Malaysia was very famous of its enormous MILOs factories in the world, some people said like that. I just knew it. I have tasted the MILOS made in Malaysia, and the taste was good, but the chocholate taste was a little bit to bitter than in Indonesia. The price of a sachet of medium MILOS around 20 RM or equal to 65.000 Indonesia rurpiahs.
- Having Ramadhan in Kuala Lumpur. We all knew that Malaysia is one of the most famous countries in the world with huge holders of Islamic faiths and the hold the Islamic beliefs and traditions very strong with the famous characters of the country with easy access to Halal-compliant cuisines all over the country. During Ramadhan, most people all across Malaysia is fasting, and Moslems are not allowed to eat Pork.
What else I have left behind during my last 2-day visit to Kuala Lumpur last November 2009? As the consequences, visitors who love porks, or non moslem holders are not allowed to eat them all in front of the public during the fasting month of Ramadhan, but the restaurants runs by non moslems are open as usuall. You don't have to worry about it. Just come to Malaysia. Enjoy the night life of Kuala Lumpur.(Asep Haryono)
