Pontianak Lion Dance International Championship 2019 is the biggest lion dance tournament among Asian countries followed by several countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, China Taipei, Singapore, Myanmar, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and Australia.
As the host, Indonesia has selected six selected teams, namely Maha Virya (Banten), San Guo (Central Java), Tarakan (Kaltara), YPPK, All Star (West Kalimantan) and Naga Langit (Sulsel).
