www.simplyasep.com West Kalimantan's Hoax Crisis Center (HCC) held an anti HOAKS campaign in West Kalimantan to hold its activities again. This time is the Training of Trainers (TOT) in Kapuas Dharma 1 Pontianak on Saturday (11/8). The activity held at the Kapuas Dharma Hotel is one of HCC's efforts to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in mastering anti hoax material.
The theme that was carried out in the West Kalimantan TOT Hoax Crisis Center (HCC) this time was "Improving Human Resources in Mastering Anti Hoax Materials".
It was attended by participants from various representatives including representatives from the Media (journalists, photographers), Education Personnel, High school students, Pontianak Netizens (Blogger, Vlogger and Instagramer) and Information Care Community (KOPI) West Kalimantan as well.
Some of the speakers presented at the West Kalimantan Hoax Crisis Center (HCC) included the chairman of the Independent Journalism Alliance, Dian Lestari, Chair of the Indonesian Anti-Defamation Society (MAFINDO), Dr. Syarifah Ema Rahmaniah, Chair of the HCC West Kalimantan Reinardo Sinaga.
Dian Lestari also Chairman of the West Kalimantan Journalists Union said that those participants who take part in this TOT activity can create trainer cadres in educating the public about how to counteract hoaxes.
The event, which took place from 8:00 a.m. to dusk, was filled not only by the presentation of the material by the speakers, but also by a case study and laboratory using several software to verify and check a news source or the photo contained hoaks or not.
It is expected that the results of the HCC West Kalimantan Training of Trainer (ToT) will print human resources, Truth Warriors who have been equipped with knowledge and knowledge about HOAX so that they are expected to be able to help the West Kalimantan Hoax Crisis Center (HCC) which is now fighting out in deflecting and fighting the increasingly massive HOAKS attacks and hate speeches throughout West Kalimantan. "Basically the training provided is our effort to print the right agents for disseminating information against hoaks that spread in the community, especially on social media," added Dian Lestari.
